National Missions (Polar Behaviors and Excellence Centers)

  • Produced over 20 international reports for policymaking.
  • Conducted 19 missions (6 international, 13 national).
  • Organized 70 national committee meetings.
  • Developed and received certification for the Trachoma Elimination Program.
  • Analyzed eye health service delivery using WHO’s ECSAT tool.
  • Analyzed rehabilitation systems for the visually impaired using WHO’s TARSS tool.
  • Developed national eye health reference and system report.
  • Produced policy summary for amblyopia screening due to anisometropia.
  • Developed national glaucoma control policy.
  • Established coding standards for diagnostic and therapeutic services for retinopathy of prematurity.
  • Strategic collaboration with the High Council of Medical Science Excellence Centers.

  • Membership in the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.
  • Organized and hosted a $10,000 international grant for a 3-month advanced training program (4-party consortium).
  • Successfully implemented clinical evidence generation for cataract surgery device to obtain European CE standards.

  • Certificate of Appreciation from the World Health Organization (WHO) for the elimination of trachoma as a public health problem (2021).
  • Certificate of Appreciation from the Director General of the Non-Communicable Diseases Office for cultural and social contributions to eye health and blindness prevention (2019).
  • Certificate of Appreciation from the Director General of Non-Communicable Diseases, Ministry of Health, for the ceremony honoring Iran's success in trachoma elimination.
  • Certificate of Appreciation from the Deputy of Health for implementing vision health programs.
  • Certificate of Appreciation from the Director General of Non-Communicable Diseases, Ministry of Health, and the Head of the National Health Management Training Center, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, for leading eye disease prevention and control programs.
  • Certificate of Appreciation from the Director General of the Non-Communicable Diseases Office, Ministry of Health, for serving as the Program Manager for Eye Disease Prevention and Control.
  • Recognition from the Cultural and Social Affairs Department of Tehran University of Medical Sciences for active participation in the Simorgh Festival (Ministry of Health), including contributions with educational posters for the specialized ophthalmic nursing journal.
  • Recognition from the President of the Blind and Visually Impaired Sports Federation (2021).
