On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, a ceremony was held to honor Ms Azadeh Shahbazi, the former head of accounting at the Translational Ophthalmology Research Center: TORC, and to introduce Mr Yashar Jafari, the new head of this unit, in the presence of Dr Seyed Farzad Mohammadi, head of the TORC, members of the center, and accounting colleagues at the research center.

At this ceremony, Dr Mohammadi described the most important work as establishing a benevolent team spirit on behalf of the research center in the hospital's accounting system, and mentioned that this was what Ms Shahbazi did.

Also, Dr Mohammadi explained the TORC's current projects and the human resources area and its development plan to the new head of accounting, Mr Jafari.

It was also mentioned that Ms Shahbazi will continue her cooperation with the research center in the “Sight Outreach for Children: SORC” program, as the director of the program's financial-social development
