Pursuant to the first call for postdoctoral researcher recruitment issued by the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), the Translational Ophthalmology Research Center of TUMS hereby announces an open call for recruiting a postdoctoral researcher within the framework of this program. Under this initiative, Tehran University of Medical Sciences will support twelve (12) postdoctoral researchers through the SciTech Postdoctoral Program. The program aims to enhance scientific research capacity, promote innovative activities, and strengthen translational research. The position is full-time and includes both research and financial support provided by the university. Accordingly, Dr. Seyed Farzad Mohammadi, faculty member and host supervisor at the Translational Ophthalmogy Research Center, proposes the following research project for the recruitment of a postdoctoral researcher: Research Project Title: "Comparative Morphological and Phylogenetic Analysis of the Limbal Epithelial Niche: Simulation and Design of an Acellular Human Limbal Scaffold". Required Field of Expertise: PhD in Molecular Genetics Project Location: Translational Ophthalmology Research Center, Tehran University of Medical Sciences The project focuses on tissue engineering and regenerative ophthalmology, with particular emphasis on investigating the limbal epithelial niche and designing acellular biological scaffolds for translational applications in ocular surface reconstruction. Terms and Benefits: Monthly salary equivalent to 80% of the base salary of an assistant professor. Financial support for research project implementation. Basic social security insurance coverage. Close scientific collaboration with the host supervisor and full access to the research facilities and infrastructure of the Eye Research Center.
